Falcony strengthens its whistleblowing offering by acquiring Ilmoituskanava

Helsinki, Finland – September 1, 2026.

Falcony, a leading Nordic provider of involvement-driven HSEQ, inspection and risk management software, announces the acquisition of the Ilmoituskanava business from Finland Chamber of Commerce. The acquisition expands Falcony’s whistleblowing offering and further strengthens its position in the Finnish and Nordic compliance software markets.

Ilmoituskanava is a Finnish cloud-based whistleblowing solution that enables employees and other stakeholders to report suspected misconduct and unethical behaviour securely and confidentially. The service supports organisations in meeting the requirements of Finland’s Whistleblower Protection Act and the EU Whistleblower Protection Directive while promoting transparency, trust and responsible business conduct.

Developed by Finland Chamber of Commerce, Ilmoituskanava has been designed as an accessible and cost-effective service for organisations of different sizes. It supports both anonymous and named reporting, confidential communication between the reporter and authorised case handlers, and organisation-specific reporting forms and workflows. Security and data protection have been central to the service, including regularly performed external security testing.

Through the transaction, Ilmoituskanava’s customer relationships will join WeKomply Group and Falcony’s broader compliance offering. Customers will benefit from the Group’s dedicated software expertise, product development capabilities and operational resources, as well as access to a wider portfolio of solutions for whistleblowing, risk management, HSEQ, security, facilities and ESG management.

A strong Nordic home for Ilmoituskanava

The acquisition is a natural extension of WeKomply’s strategy to build a leading Nordic group of specialised compliance and risk management software companies. Customer continuity and broader capabilities

Ilmoituskanava customers can expect continued service and support throughout the transition. Existing customer organisations will receive practical information directly as the integration progresses. The aim is to preserve the trusted reporting experience while creating a foundation for continued product development and access to complementary compliance capabilities across WeKomply Group.

The acquisition does not change the central role of customer organisations as the recipients and handlers of their own reports. Confidentiality, appropriate access control and the protection of whistleblowers will remain core principles of the service. WeKomply and Falcony will draw on their established expertise and resources to ensure secure and reliable service delivery.

The acquisition further expands WeKomply’s reach in Finland, where Falcony already supports organisations across the private and public sectors.
